Banish the Winter Blues, Get Outside and Start Thinking Spring!

Tap maple syrup in the woods, volunteer at Middlefork Farms or look for your dream boat.

If you’re tired of winter and need some outdoor activity, or just want to be reminded of warmer weather, then this is a good weekend to get out and about with the family.

Volunteer at Middlefork Farms Forest Preserve, dream of sailing away on Lake Michigan, or learn about where real maple syrup comes from and how to tap a tree to collect some.

Not ready to venture into the great outdoors yet? No problem! There are family friendly theatre options just a short car ride away.
