Bestselling author and former Lake Forest resident Dave Eggers will sign copies of “Hologram for the King” from 11 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Lake Forest Book Store.
“Hologram for the King” was a 2012 National Book Award finalist and was named one of the top ten books of last year by the New York Times Book Review.
The book is the story of a businessman’s efforts to avoid foreclosure and pay his daughters college tuition by taking his family around the world and landing in a Saudi Arabian city, according to information provided by the Lake Forest book store.
Eggers moved to Lake Forest with his family from Boston as a young boy and graduated from Lake Forest High School before going to the University of Illinois.
