David Byrne, St. Vincent to Perform at Ravinia

The two musicians released a critically lauded collaborative album in 2012, and have been receiving rave reviews for their joint performances.

This summer's line-up at Ravinia Festival is slowly unfolding, and each announcement is music to the ears.

The enigmatic David Byrne will be performing with Annie Erin Clark, known by the stage name St. Vincent, at Ravinia on July 6. Byrne is the founding member of the legendary new wave band Talking Heads. St. Vincent started her music career with beloved indie rock acts The Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens before making a successful run as a solo artist.

The two musicians released a critically lauded collaborative album called Love This Giant in 2012, and have been receiving rave reviews for their joint performances. The Washington Post described it as "a kind of show you’d never seen or heard before," and the Hollywood Reporter praised their "amazing charisma."

Byrne and St. Vincent join a short, but already impressive list of concerts this season that includes Sting and Jewel as well as Jackson Browne.

Tickets go on sale on April 26.
