Have an outdated computer, printer or fax machine? On Saturday, June 16, the Friedman for State Senate campaign is co-hosting an electronics recycling event with Midwest Computer Recycling of Lake Bluff.
Each year, millions of outdated elections are improperly thrown away. Unfortunately, this “e-waste” contains high levels of lead, mercury and other toxic substances unsuitable for disposal in local landfills. Recycling electronics is a responsible way to keep hazardous electronic waste out of our landfills.
We encourage you to join us as we recycle unneeded, excess or obsolete electronic equipment to help keep Illinois’ landfills safe.
