Lake County in the Civil War: Free Lecture Co-Sponsored by Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society and Lake Forest College

The Lake Forest Lake-Bluff Historical Society and Lake Forest College present the lecture “Lake County in the Civil War: Front Line to Home Front,” by Diana Dretske of the Lake County Discovery Museum. As part of the evening, arriving guests will be serenaded by Music Institute of Chicago students performing period music. The lecture will be held at the Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel, 555 North Sheridan Road on the Lake Forest College campus on Tuesday, February 15th. The chapel doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the lecture begins at 7:00 p.m. The singers will begin their performances at 6:15 and guests may arrive any time during the pre-lecture music. The event is free and open to the public; all campus parking, including reserved faculty spots, will be available to attendees.
