Paws for a Tale

Children in grades 1 - 5 can read to a certified therapy dog at the library. The dogs are great listeners, and they offer the perfect opportunity for children to practice their reading aloud skills in a nonjudgmental setting. Please register in advance for a 20 minute appointment. Parents must sign a waiver form.

Paws for a Tale is offered on Thursday evenings at 7, 7:30 and 8 p.m. It is also offered on Thursday afternoons from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
