Lake Forest, Lake Bluff Youngsters Star in 'Fantastic Mr. Fox'

The Performing Arts Winter Theatre Academy will present their production of
Fantastic Mr. Fox at 1 p.m. April 30, 2011 at the , 400 E. Illinois Road, in Lake Forest.

Twenty-nine young actors from Lake Forest and Lake Bluff have been developing their characters and rehearsing their scenes during a 15-week theatre performance class under the direction of Tom Beck and Sue R. Gale. Fantastic Mr. Fox is playwright Sally Reid's lively and suspenseful adaptation of the Roald Dahl book.

For many of the actors, this will be their first experience performing a play
onstage. Others are veteran actors of Beck’s theatre performance classes at Gorton such as the Performing Arts Summer Theatre Academy that will performing Peter Pan this summer.

The cast includes Lorelei Duelli, Josephine Fuller, Eli Fietsam, Piper Smith, Kirsty Graham, Matthew Landon, Tyler Hansen, Helene Francis, Ursula Nugent, Kendall Litzsinger, Brynn Hesse, Sam Rappin, Avery Robb, Eli Brezak, Ella Haverkampf, Evan Devine, Colette Belzer, Shane Rodriguez, Tess Ivinjack, Ryan Devine, Josh Daley, Rylie Mills, Amanda Ashbeck, Paige Dillow, Elizabeth Pearson, Ashley Mullarkey, Eilise Lynch, Cece Rytell and Audrey Mullarkey.
