LFHS Orchesis: Seniors Celebrate Culmination of Efforts to Bring Club Back

Show is Friday night at East campus.

When Carolyn Huszagh began her freshman year at LFHS, she realized that one thing was missing from the curriculum: a place where dancers could express themselves in a non-competitive form and learn from each other.

With the help of her sister and some friends, Huszagh resurected the Orchesis Club from its 20-year hibernation, and was instrumental in hiring Director-Advisor Annie Snow to run the program.

Huszagh is graduating soon, along with classmates Katie Mass, Kathryn Kriss, Emma Fath, Maria Callahan, and Hannah Mattson, but they leave behind a legacy that will foster the love of dance at  LFHS for years to come.
