Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx Unplugged 

• Where/When: Viper Alley, 275 Parkway Drive, Lincolnshire; 8:15 p.m. Saturday (April 2).
• Why Go: Revel in the music of Dennis DeYoung, lead guitarist and vocalist of Styx as he plays his reputable band’s music unplugged.
• Pricing: Tickets start at $65.

Fatman Sports Lounge & Lanes

• Where/When: 13860 Rockland Road, Lake Bluff; 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Friday and Saturday, April 1-2, and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday (April 3).
• Why Go: This lively bar and bowling alley offers a day of entertainment for your family and friends.
• Pricing: During the day, bowling is $8 for an hour with shoes for children and adults. After 5 p.m., adults cost $13 for an hour of bowling with shoes, and children are $8. Discounts possible for groups.

First Fridays on Main Street

• Where/When: Downtown Libertyville; 6-9 p.m. Friday (April 1). 
• Why Go: Take a relaxing walk in downtown Libertyville and check out the town’s monthly event. Enjoy shops and restaurants as they offer special promotions, wine tasting and music.  
• Pricing: Art donation suggested. Free to the public, kids welcome.

iPop Performs at Cubby Bear

• Where/When: 21661 N. Milwaukee Ave., Lincolnshire, 10 p.m. Friday (April 1).  
• Why Go: Get out and dance to pop tunes. Cubby Bear features multi-genre cover pop band iPop. Band performs music of artists like Kanye West, Bon Jovi and Prince.
• Pricing: $6 cover. 

Step by Step Promotions Arts & Crafts Show

• Where/When: Lake County Fair Grounds, 1060 E. Peterson Road, Grayslake; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (April 2), 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday (April 3).  
• Why Go: Come check out the annual arts spectacle featuring as many as 200 different booths of talented crafters’ products.
• Pricing: $3 for entry.  

Zanies Comedy Night Club Presents 10 Comics for $10

• Where/When: 230 Hawthorn Village Commons, Vernon Hills; 8 p.m. Friday (April 1), 7 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday (April 2).
• Why Go: Event returns by popular demand; 10 Chicago comics deliver their finest material. Comedy line up runs the gamut of comedic styles.
• Pricing: Single tickets $10.
