Stevenson Orchestra to Perform in Chicago

The Patriot Orchestra will play with the Chicago College of Performing Arts Symphony Orchestra on Oct. 16.

Stevenson High School musicians are preparing for a performance at Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center

The Patriot Orchestra will play alongside the Chicago College of Performing Arts Symphony Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16, according to Stevenson’s Daily Digest.

Admission is free and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Stevenson’s musicians will be performing the overture to La Forza del destino by Verdi.

Students scheduled to perform include: Richard Zhu, Heena Kuwayama, Jeeho Lee, Tina Tian, Mathew Cheng, Michael Zhang, Sunny Yun, William Langbo, Francesca Florendo, Cindy Luan, William Han, Jay Wang, Katherine Xie, Jinny Kang, Michelle Ling, Grace Yoon, Monet Lee, Alex Hong, Niveda Tennety,  Andrew Min, Eugenie Bang, David Cao, Joshua Cheng, Jennifer Ryu, Barton Huang, Allen Wang, Jenny Zhang, Jaymo Kang, Naram Ji, David Luo, Dong Hwan Lee, Han Song Huang, Daniel Ko, Shu Zhang, Jonathan Chang, Shobanna Sunder, Phillip Kwon, Andrew Park, Peter Hwang, Chris Song, Sophia Liu, Jane Wang, Brian Lin, Boris Schwarzenbach, Raymon Cao, Christopher Gao, Junwon Choi, Autumn Hoang, Yongjae Park, Katie Ko, Eric Chang, Jiyun Yu, Sean Parandeh, Daniel Rong, Gregory Chonko and Sarah Ziselman.

Orchestra fans who want a more local concert can hear the Patriot Orchestra — along with Stevenson’s other two orchestras — at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 in Stevenson’s Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.
