  • Where/When: James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts (Room C005, C-Wing Auditorium, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake; 2 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 20).
  • Why Go: Enjoy this legendary fairytale as it comes to life via performance; particularly of interest for those who enjoyed recent film hit, “Tangled.”
  • Pricing: $5 for general admission. 

 

“Hi Infidelity” Performs at The Cubbie Bear

Dark Crystal at Genesee

  • Where/When: 203 N. Genesee St., Waukegan; 7 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 19).
  • Why Go: Take your kids to the classic fantasy film, “The Dark Crystal,” which plays in the lovely historic Genesee Theatre downtown Waukegan.
  • Pricing: $3 admission.

 

Fatman Sports Lounge & Lanes

  • Where/When: 13860 Rockland Rd., Lake Bluff; Fri., Sat. 11 a.m. – 1 a.m.; Sun. 11 a.m. – 2 a.m.
  • Why Go: This lively bar and bowling alley offers a day of entertainment for your family and friends.
  • Pricing: $8 buckets of Miller and Coors products on Fridays; pints of beer for $2 on Saturdays. During the day, bowling is $8 for an hour with shoes for children and adults. After 5 p.m., adults cost $13 for an hour of bowling with shoes, and children are $8. Discounts possible for groups.

Tom Green at Zanies Comedy Night Club
