Caputo Cheese Market, Lake Bluff Brewing Company Partner on Oktoberfest Celebration
Two local businesses plan future pairings.
hosted a beer and cheese Oktoberfest celebration Sept. 29, partnering with Lake Bluff Brewing Company to present craft brews paired with specialty cheeses.
Guests enjoyed trying the beer and cheese as Dave Burns and Rodd Specketer, founders of Lake Bluff Brewing Company, explained the details of their microbrews. Nat Caputo, owner of Caputo Cheese Market, described the cheeses and why they paired so well with each beer. As the event progressed, prizes were also raffled off.
Caputo Cheese Market and Lake Bluff Brewing Company plan to team up again in the near future to bring another pairing of craft brews and cheeses to their communities.
