Heinen's Taking Over Lake Bluff Dominick’s

The Cleveland-based store is also moving into the Dominick's space in Bannockburn.

Heinen's Fine Foods will take over the space vacated by the Lake Bluff Dominick’s, according to an article in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Heinen’s is based in Cleveland.

Earlier this week, the chain announced that it would take over the Bannockburn Dominick’s. The chain has 17 stores in Ohio, where it was founded in 1929, and is planning to open a store in Glenview this spring. It’s Barrington store, the first in the area, opened two years ago.

When Patch asked readers last fall what store you’d like to see replace Dominick’s, Mariano’s and Whole Foods were the favorites.
