Merchants Offer Easter Prizes
Lake Forest shops offering Easter egg treasure and a chance for a grand prize basket.
Lake Forest merchants taking part in a Hop the Shops event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday are offering a prize Easter egg to every child who comes into one of the participating stores displaying the bunny attached to this story in its window.
Each child is entitled to one egg per store and one opportunity overall to enter a drawing for a grand prize basket “full of great stuff from participating merchants,” according to an email from the Lake Forest Book Store.
The drawing will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday. The winner will be notified by phone.

Businesses taking part beside the bookstore are the Lake Forest Resale Shop, Baytree Bank, Kiddles, Helanders, Oska, Forest Bootery, Sara Campbell, Alixandra Collections, Einstein Brothers’ Bagels, Lake Forest Shop, Lake Forest Food and Wine, Penny’s From Heaven, Unicorn Designs and J. McLaughlin.
