Readers Pick Chocolate Fudge as Frozen Yogurt Choice

People want a variety of flavors and styles when Jolly Good Fellows Sweet Boutique Opens.

Frozen Yogurt will be one of the mainstays along with cupcakes and other treats when Jolly Good Fellows Sweet Boutique opens on Market Square this spring.

Patch has already polled its readers on the flavors of cupcakes they want to see and Monday we asked for choices of frozen yogurt. Chocolate fudge was a winner but readers responded with ideas beyond flavor.

Of the eight people who responded to the poll, three chose chocolate fudge, three picked other while one each want strawberry and key lime pie. Variety was one of the other choices along with some ingredient ideas.

“I like a wide variety of flavors, but I try to only eat organic,” reader and blogger June Iuvisi wrote.

Vicky Kujawa is fine with any flavor but also has specific ideas about the contents. “Any flavor is fine, as long as it isn't full of garbage ingredients like propylene glycol, partially hydrogenated trans fat and corn syrup,” she wrote.

Blair White is concerned with her daughter’s allergies but wants to bring her to the shop. “At least one flavor, if not all, without corn syrup,” she wrote. “My daughter has an allergy to it.”

Khristine Condon would like to see cheesecake or mint chocolate chip. Another reader is looking for rum raisin.
