Two Lake Forest Companies Make Fortune 500

The 2013 Fortune 500 list was just released and includes 32 Illinois companies.

Seven Northshore-based companies have made the Fortune 500 list for 2013, including two in Lake Forest and five in Deerfield.

W.W. Grainger, in Lake Forest, is #295 on the list with $9 billion in revenues.

Tenneco, in Lake Forest, came in at #349 with $7.4 billion in revenues.

Walgreens, in Deerfield, is #33 on the list with $71.6 billion in revenues.

Mondelez International, in Deerfied, comes in at #88 with $35 billion in revenues.

Baxter International, in Deerfield, lands at #193 on the list with $14.2 billion in revenues.

CF Industries Holdings, in Deerfield, came in at #419 with $$6.1 billion in revenues.

United Stationers in Deerfied was #484 on the list with $5 billion in revenues.

Fortune 500 companies are ranked by total revenues for their respective fiscal years.

A total of 32 Illinois companies made the Fortune 500 list. Others include Abbott Labs at #70, Sears at #71, Allstate at #92, McDonald's at #111, CDW at #267 and Motorola at #304.

At the top of the list is Walmart followed by Apple at #6 and General Motors at #7. See the full list here.
