Earthquake Strikes Virginia, Felt in Chicagoland

Quake struck early this afternoon.

A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck Virginia today.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the quake struck about 34 miles southwest of Fredericksburg.

Some Twitter users have reported feeling the earthquake here in Illinois.
