Most motorists have noticed that the price of gasoline has done nothing but rise over the past month.
CNN Money reports the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in America has increased more than 13 percent over the past 32 days to $3.73.
On Monday afternoon, gas prices in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff ranged from $3.89 at the 7-Eleven at 13845 W Oasis Service Rd. in Lake Forest and at the North Chicago Citgo at 3092 N. Skokie Highway in Lake Bluff to $4 at the BP of Lake Forest at 530 N. Western Ave.
CNN Money is crediting the price increase to a combination of factors including rising crude oil prices, production cuts and refinery closings.
