Lake Forest Wow House!

Check out this week's fabulous Lake Forest Wow House - a Historic Stanley Anderson French Gothic Home

Courtesy of Griffith, Grant and Lackie Realtors.

Designed by renowned architect Stanley Anderson and built for James R. Leavell, at the time President of the Continental Bank, this home was completed in 1929 with Thomas Seyster overseeing the landscape design. Designed in the walled French Gothic tradition, the home is clustered on the corner of the property to maximize views of the yard. The previous owner put a conservation easement on approximately half acre. In 2005, the house received an extensive overhaul and expansion, winning commendation from the Lake Forest Foundation for Historic Preservation. Located in a coveted east Lake Forest location, this home features 5 bedrooms and 4.2 baths on .88 acre.
