  • Why Go?: Learn about the career of Walter Frazier and his local work in this presentation by the Lake Forest - Lake Bluff Historical Society. Authors Kim Coventry and Arthur Miller will lecture from their award-winning book, "Walter Frazier and Frazier Raferty Orr & Fairbank Architects:  Houses of Chicago's North Shore 1926-1976."  Following the lecture is a book signing and house tour.
  • Pricing: $15 for Historical Society members; $20 for non-members.

  • Where/When: Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Feet First Exhibition Hall, 3333 Green Bay Road, North Chicago; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday (June 3).
  • Why Go?: View an exhibit of a visual interpretation of a Healthcare Superhero through the drawings, paintings and three-dimensional objects made by kids. The exhibit is a collaboration between the North Chicago Community Partners and the Boys & Girls Club of Lake County.
  • Pricing: Free.

  • Where/When:, 300 S. Waukegan Road, Lake Forest; 8 - 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday (June 3-4).
  • Why Go?: Experience the that pokes fun at the mysteries of Agatha Christie.
  • Pricing: $35, $32 for students and seniors.

  • Where / When: Viper Alley, 275 Parkway Drive, Lincolnshire; 7 - 10 p.m. Friday (June 3).
  • Why Go?: Performance by Lisa Loeb, the first artist to have a No. 1 song while not being signed to a recording contract with the hit "Stay (I Missed You). Bar and kitchen open at 5 p.m. Must be 21 years old or older to attend.
  • Pricing: $15 - 40 per ticket.

  • Where/When: , 412 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville; Noon - 6 p.m. Saturday (June 4).
  • Why Go?: Second annual bar crawl through Libertyville's most fun bars and restaurants. Participants must find answers to riddles along the way earning a 50/50 raffle ticket for each correct answer.
  • Pricing: $30 in advance; $35 on the day of the event.
