Oct. 9 is the Last Day to Register to Vote

Lake County residents need to register to vote today in order to cast their ballot in November.

Whether you have Obama-rama or Romney-fever, make sure to register to vote TODAY in order to be elligible to vote in the Nov. 6 election.

Not sure if you're already registered? Check here. Voter Power can tell you if you're good to go on the 6th. If you've changed your name, you'll need to re-register under you're new name. And if you've moved (within Lake County), you'll need to mail a notification including your name, old and new address, date of birth and your signature to the County Clerk, or complete the back of your Voter's Certification of Registration Card, including your signature.

If you're not registered, you can go online to the Office of the County Clerk. You can also register in person at the Lake Bluff Public Library or the Shields Township Office in Lake Bluff, or at the office of The City of Lake Forest (in Lake Forest). Remember to bring two forms of identification proving your address, only one of which can be a piece of mail.
