Lake Bluff Public Library on Pace for Its Busiest Year Ever

The Lake Bluff Public Library has seen both an increase in visits and use since completing a renovation, and is on pace for its busiest year ever.

The current fiscal year, May 1, 2011 to April 30, 2012, has already seen big things take place at the Lake Bluff Public Library.

The renovation this past summer included the construction of a new entrance, the installation of new lights and carpeting, and additional seating for laptop users.

The library has been, after the completion of the renovation in August, busier than ever before! As the library's fiscal (and statistical) year draws to a close, we have already had more visitors than any previous year and are on pace to exceed our 100,633 checkout record (set during the 2009-2010 fiscal year).

During the last two weeks of April, the library will be giving away a fun-size 100 Grand Bar to each patron who checks out at least 10 items.

We cannot thank the community of Lake Bluff enough for all of the support over the past year, and hope that you will stop by and help us make this our busiest year ever!
