Library Still Warm and Inviting, Despite the Chill in the Air

Thanks to all those that helped bring our landscape project to a successful conclusion. We are also excited to be partnering with LifeSource for twice monthly blood drives starting in July.

I am happy to report that the Lake Bluff Public Library continues to be a busy, bustling place as the winter months roll on. The library’s landscaping project this last fall came to a successful and lovely conclusion. Thanks are certainly owed to the Friends of the Lake Bluff Library for assisting in paying for the project, to the contractors who diligently completed the work as the weather turned cold, and to the patrons who put up with a bit of dust and dirt as the project was underway.

As always the Library has a fantastic selection of programs ready for spring and summer. I am particularly proud, though, that we will be partnering with LifeSource to host twice monthly blood drives starting in July. LifeSource previously had a storefront in the Dominick’s shopping plaza, but they were no longer able to maintain the location. We are proud to provide them a way to stay active in the area and continue their lifesaving work.
