Reading Clubs for All Ages at the Lake Bluff Public Library!

GEM, Lake Bluff's own rock stars, will perform at 2 p.m. Saturday (June 30) to really get the place rocking in the library's downstairs Spruth Room.

Summer is an exciting time with tons of fun and exciting programs. Kids from ages 2 to 13 can join our Reading Rocks summer program, packed with exciting events and prizes.

GEM, Lake Bluff's own rock stars, will perform at 2 p.m. Saturday (June 30) to really get the place rocking in the library's downstairs Spruth Room. The last day of the reading program, July 28, will feature performer Dave Rudolph with live music and activities on the Village Green.

Finally, preschoolers can join children's assistant, Ms. Eliza, on the Village Green at 10:30 a.m. Fridays for a story time during the weekly Farmer's Market.

Teens can enjoy a Summer Reading Club of their own, reading 1,000 pages to receive gift cards to Starbucks, McDonalds, and iTunes.

Adults certainly won't miss out on the fun either with our tasty Reading is a Treat! reading program.

Anyone over 18 years can register, and fulfill five of the eight activities listed on the reading log to receive two pre-publication paperbacks and a chance to win more prizes in our end of the summer drawing.
