TAIZE SERVICE

Introduction to Taize Prayer.  Taize prayer involves singing songs as a series of prayers, rather than as hymns.  Each chant is repeated many times in order to achieve a relaxed, meditative state.  Not only does the repetition help you learn the chant, it allows it to become a prayer of your heart.

This is a service in which time is suspended.  You can feel the tranquility fill your consciousness as anxiety and stress melt away.  Silence is a central part of the service, which allows you to open your heart to God and allows God to speak to you.

The service is Wednesday, November 21st, at 7:00PM.  Join us and center yourself as well as quiet your mind.
