EXPAND YOUR CONNECTIONS – Building Your Network

Facilitated by: Lori Yoder, Clinical Social Worker, Northwestern
Memorial Hospital

     The
best strategy for building relationships is helping others solve their
problems.  Re-frame your thinking about
what networking is all about.  “Show up”
and you might be surprised to find the information and connections you are
looking for while helping others in their quest for new employment.  Come with specifics on what you are looking
for, your inventive ideas, handbills, and business cards.

Lori Yoder has a significant career in
the Chicago metro area as a manager, clinical social worker, and educator. Both
professional and volunteer efforts have been focused on supporting the work of
non-profits through advocacy, fundraising, and networking. Empowering
individuals and organizations to reach their potentials through skill and
financial growth is the hallmark of her career. Special interests include:
health and wellness, youth rights, education, and justice issues.
