Gail Tsukiyama-Author Presentation

Gail Tsukiyama will discuss her novel The Street of a Thousand Blossoms. Seating is limited and free tickets are required.  Tickets will be available at the library's Reference Desk the day of the event 9/30, beginning at noon. One ticket per person.

The Street of a Thousand Blossoms
 is the selected title for Lake Forest Reads: Ragdale 2013, a one book, one community program cosponsored by Lake Forest Library and The Ragdale Foundation.  It is the story of two brothers who find their way in post-war Japan.  Hiroshi aspires to be a sumo wrestler while his younger brother wishes to carve masks for the Noh theater.

Community Partners include the Arts Alliance of Lake Forest & Lake Bluff, Dickinson Hall, Friends of Lake Forest Library, The Green Teaist, Lake Forest Book Store, Lake Forest College and the Music Institute of Chicago.
