How to Handle Finances & Write Off Your Job Search Expenses

Presented by: Melissa Osuch, CFEd™, Financial Advisor,
Strategic Advisors of Illinois

          CRC is
happy to re-run this program that was offered in February!  Attending a session on finances while you are
unemployed certainly doesn’t sound appealing.
Arming yourself with knowledge on what resources can be tapped with the
least penalty, simple ways to cut expenses, and of how to protect yourself
during transition can alleviate some of the burden you are feeling.  Melissa is vested in helping you learn what
you CAN do while in transition to improve your financial health and prioritize
you financial goals and avoid scams.  As
a timely bonus, Melissa will clarify what job search expanses can be deducted
on your 2013 tax return.

     Melissa
Osuch has over 14 years experience in the financial services industry.  She has worked as a Bank Vice President, a
bank consultant, and is currently a registered investment advisor
representative.  She spent six years as a
corporate trainer and enjoys teaching adults and motivating individuals to plan
for their future.  Melissa earned both
her MBA and Certificate in Financial Planning from DePaul University.  In addition, she has earned her CFE –
Certified Financial Educator.  She holds
FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.  She is
pleased to work with young families and working professionals who would like to
make better decisions about their money and financial life.
