Japanese Tea Ceremony

Chado: the Japanese Way of Tea

Ursenke Chicago Association presents an explanation and demonstration of the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony with a tasting of unique green tea and special sweets provided by The Green Teaist.  Music by Music Institute faculty member, Reiko Yamada.
For more information contact Dickinson Hall 847-234-2209.  Free and open to the public.  Best suited for adults, and older children accompanied by an adult.
 Part of Lake Forest Reads: Ragdale 2013, a one book, one community program cosponsored by Lake Forest Library and The Ragdale Foundation. This year's book is The Street of Thousand Blossoms by Gail Tsukiyama.
