Special Education 101: Understanding the IEP Process with LF-LB LDA and the LB and LF Elementary Schools

Special Education to be focus of Hot Topic sessions offered Monday and Tuesday, November 11 and 12

Helping parents understand special education services
including how IEPs are developed, the role of  parents in supporting students with disabilities, and other support services that are available in Lake Bluff District 65 and Lake Forest District 67 will be the focus of programs sponsored Monday and Tuesday mornings by the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Learning Disabilities Association with the two school districts.

In addition, the Lake Bluff Schools will offer the session on Monday evening as part of its monthly Superintendent Corner series.

The event is being offered at these three times:

Monday, November 11, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Lake Bluff Elementary School (350 West Washington Ave., Lake Bluff, IL 60044) Presenters: Sue Hans, Parent Mentor and Coordinator of Family and Community Partnerships, North Suburban Special Education District (NSSED), and Kevin Rubenstein, Director of Student Services & Curriculum, Lake Bluff School District 65.
