WOMEN IN THE KNOW HOLDS OPEN FORUMS THROUGHOUT NOVEMBER ON U.S. HEALTHCARE SYSTEM, OTHER TIMELY ISSUES

CHICAGO, IL (NOVEMBER 2013) – Women In The Know
brings Chicago area women together to discuss world issues, current events and
timely topics. Whether a stay at home mom, an elderly well-traveled woman, a young
business professional, anyone wanting to get back into the workplace, or just
someone looking for intellectual conversation, Women
in the Know
offers an
open platform for any woman to stay current in today’s fast paced world. Amie
Marks, founder of Women in the Know, will host three free open luncheons
throughout November in Lake Forest, Forest Park, and Chicago, with a focus on
the U.S. Healthcare System. Women are encouraged to bring their friends, an
open mind, and be ready to engage in good conversation.

Women in the
Know kicked off a series of casual, informative luncheons in September, with an
exploration on the controversial Monsanto, GMO’s, organics, and packaging. In
October, Amie Marks delved into women’s health issues and how every decision
affects the body, touching on female cancers, current statistics, medical
advancements, and preventative care. This month, she will speak on the U.S.
Healthcare System and how women can take control of their own wellness. Marks
will guide guests through the current issues surrounding the Affordable Care
Act (ObamaCare) and finding the best route to health and wellness.

A Lake Bluff woman, Christine
Twiehaus, has attended several Women in the Know forums. "The topics are
timely and often already being discussed in social media. However, at this
forum, there is no bias, no political influence. You get the facts you
need to make a personal, educated decision on things that affect your life
today."
