The numbers are just in showing how the single-family housing market in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff compare from June 2012 to June 2013. Highlights for Lake Forest: +43.4% change in new listings for all properties, +124.0% change in closed sales all properties, -16.9% change in inventory of homes all properties.
Lake Bluff highlights: +24.0% change in new listings all properties, -5.3% change in closed sales all properties, -33.6% change in inventory of homes all properties.
For detached homes in Lake Forest, there has been a 66.7% increase in number of closed sales in June 2013 compared to June 2012. The average market time has gone from 211 days to 194, a reduction of -7.9%.
For detached homes in Lake Bluff, the market time decreased from 231 days to 70, a -69.9% decrease. There were five fewer closed sales, 12 in June 2013, and 17 in 2012. The average sales price increased from $497,131 in June 2012, to $727,333 in June 2013, +46.3%.
