West Deerfield Township Supervisor , Lake County Recorder of Deeds Mary Ellen Vanderventer, and Lake County Board candidate are spearheading a collection of personal care items to aid local charities.
The drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 4 at in Lake Forest.
Items collected will include shampoos, soaps, toothpaste, diapers, and feminine hygiene products. Donations will benefit Catholic Charities and the Northern Illinois Center for Alcohol and Substance Abuse.
