Women’s Health Advisory Council of Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital hosts free “Attention to Prevention!” event

What can you do to proactively fend off women’s health issues?  Join the Women’s Health Advisory Council for an evening of education and socialization at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital’s Posy Krehbiel Breast Care Center.  Attendees will hear the newest information on illness prevention from the leaders of one of the premier breast care facilities with world-class physicians and services.

Presentations will include:

  • Early Detection and What’s Happening at the Posy Krehbiel Breast Care Center, by Radiologists Michelle Lee, MD, and Lisa Miller, MD.
  • The Role of a Nurse Navigator, by Cathy Spagnoli, RN, and Jennifer Tepper, RN.

Tours will be offered of the Mammography, Ultrasound, Biopsy and Bone Density stations.  Physicians, nurses and technicians will be on hand to answer questions and discuss current health issues with guests.

The evening will include passed wine, sparkling water, hors d’oeuvres and live music.
