6th Grade Grotto Dance Party at Gorton!

On Friday and Saturday, September 27 and 28, Gorton Community Center presents its annual 6th Grade Grotto Dance Party.  All 6th graders in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff are encouraged to come for dancing, games and snacks at the Masquerade-themed party!  Friday night tickets are SOLD OUT, but Saturday tickets are STILL AVAILABLE at www.gortoncenter.org.  The party is from 7-8:45 pm.  Tickets are $20.  Get your tickets now!

 This annual party has become a rite of passage for the middle-schoolers in our community.  And for the last three years, we have had great leadership from our Junior Board which helps plan and promote the party.  This year’s board members include:  Hunter and Will Dee, Halle Douglass, Julia Hender, Daphne Karahalios, Joe Kotlarz, Francesca Jacks, Bridget Mitchell, Trevor Mower, Scott Notz, Michael Raupp, Kenny Turelli, and Kiki Wood from Deerpath Middle School; Ingrid Falls, Rylie Mills and Graham Pierson from Lake Bluff Middle School; Charlie Davis and Gianluca Minetti from School of St. Mary; Eva Hanson and Jack Silvester from Lake Forest Country Day School; and Hannah Sweet from Forest Bluff Montessori.  Thanks to this enthusiastic and hard-working group of students!
