History of Lake Forest and First Presbyterian Church Connected in October 22nd Program

The Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society is honored to partner with the First Presbyterian Church to present its new book on the history of the church: Worship, Fellowship, and the Work of the Kingdom. The free program, held at First Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, October 22 at 6 p.m., will include a presentation by author Reverend Christine Chakoian.

The book traces the history of the church from the origins of Lake Forest, through the church's establishment in 1859, and up to the present day. Lavishly illustrated and featuring archival photographs, the book Worship, Fellowship, and the Work of the Kingdom is an important tome for anyone from the community who appreciates history and enjoys a lively story.
