Musician Richard Marx in an Exclusive Live Interview with Radio Personality Roe Conn

The Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society’s annual Local Legends event presents Richard Marx in a one-on-one conversation with Roe Conn about his life and career as a superstar in the world of music.

The event takes place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 2 at Lake Forest High School. Tickets are $50 and are available at www.lflbhistory.org. This intimate interview with this internationally acclaimed recording artist, writer and producer of 14 number one hits is not to be missed!

Richard Marx is a Lake Bluff resident who has had an extensive career in the recording industry as a singer, songwriter and producer.  He is the only male artist in history to have his first seven singles reach the Top 5 on the Billboard charts.  As a songwriter and producer, he has worked with such talented artists as: Josh Grobin, NSYNC, Barbra Streisand, Vince Gill, LeAnn Rimes, Natalie Cole, Travis Tritt, Daughtry, Lifehouse and actor Hugh Jackman.  In 2004, Richard Marx earned Song of the Year Grammy for co-authoring Luther Vandross’ “Dance with My Father.”

Mr. Roe Conn is well-known in his own right as a radio personality. Mr. Conn hosts The Roe Conn Show with Richard Roeper weekday afternoons on WLS-AM Radio. He is recognized by Talkers Magazine as one of the ‘100 Most Influential Talk Show Hosts in America’.  A close friend of Mr. Marx, Mr. Conn will interview him about his life and work.
