Dare2Tri's Paratriathlon Training Camp Serves Challenged Athletes

Dare2Tri hosts its second annual Paratriathlon Training Camp for athletes with physical or visual disabilities.

 

Dare2Tri's second annual Paratriathlon Training Camp 2012 is set to take place the weekend June 8-10 at the RecPlex Sports Center in Pleasant Prairie, Wis.

The camp will serve between 10 and 15 athletes with a physical or visual disability including injured veterans. The athletes will participate in several different clinics including swimming, running and cycling as well as transition clinics.

All of the training leads up to the Supper Spring Triathlon on the last day of camp as well as preparing the athletes for community triathlons this season. The camp will feature several high-profile coaches and presenters, including two-time Paralympian and world champion paratriathlete Sandy Dukat, two-time Paralympian and Ironman finisher Susan Katz, three time Paralympian Jason Wening, and international swim coach Glen O’Sulivan.

The Chicago Park District and Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association are partners of Dare2tri.
