Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association Hosts Summer Athletic Competitions

GLASA hosts the Great Lakes Regional Games and Adult National Championships on June 15-17 at Lake Forest and Deerfield high schools.

Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) is proud to host the Great Lakes Regional Games (GLRG) and the Adult National Championships (ANC) on June 15-17 at and Deerfield High School.

GLRG and ANC are multi-sport competitions for athletes with a physical or visual disability. These two events will run simultaneously and provide three days of competition, educational clinics, and socials. Sports for both games include swimming, track, field, archery, table tennis, power lifting, and hand cycling.

GLASA is promoting the games to athletes throughout the Midwest and on a national level, with additional outreach to injured military. The GLRG will serve as a qualifier for the National Junior Disability Championships held in Mesa, Ariz., July 22-29.
