Tribute to City Workers

Knights of Lights

My cell phone says it’s twelve below

But not when bitter winds doth blow

For that is when the whip cuts keen

And drives that down to seventeen

Our knights of lights are hard at work

They let our frigid city perk

With plows and trucks

With flashing lights

They start their day

Though it is night.
