That is the Question!
It can be a tackle for all of us.
Finding that perfect ratio of protein, to carbs, to fats. These are the three micro nutrients our body will need.
What are some of the things to think about?
Type of Carbs? Vegetables, beans, fruits or grains?
Types of Fats? Butter, oils, avocado or nuts?
Protein? Animal Meat? Vegetarian? Vegan? Raw?
We have a lot of choices.
Foremost and first we need to think about What...
1. What are you taking away from your current diet? Processed foods? Sugars? Caffeine?
2. What is the quality of your food? Frozen? Fresh? Organic?
3. How much? 3 meals a day? Snacks? What is your body able to metabolize?
Finding out what works for you takes time. What works for one does not work for another. We all have genetics and hormones and of course our relationship with food! Looking at it all is imperative.
The next step is creating a plan. Are you moving to a new diet? Are you cleaning it up? Are you taking away? Are you adding in? Are you jumping in? or Just treading the waters?
It is a journey. Getting there is the next part.
