  • Is it healthy? Americans are eating over 60 percent of their diet in highly processed foods.
  • What is on the ingredient label? A whole food, unprocessed diet can be recognized by the body. Processed foods are "food like substances." They are considered foreign bodies.
  • Where did it come from? Many vegetables and fruits are imported from other countries. Your local grocery store will rarely carry locally grown. The  foods may be picked long before they are mature to give them a longer shelf life.
  • What process did it take to get there? Over the last 50 years, the method of producing food animals in the United States has changed from small and medium sized farming to mass production. Animals are often mistreated, raised in poor conditions, fed genetically modified foods to quickly plump for sale and inoculated with various hormones and growth producing chemicals.
  • Is it safe? Many chemicals that where once considered acceptable for use within the food chain are now specifically banned. Unfortunately, there are many that are not.
  • What can it do to my body? Chemicals in foods can make you fat, create allergic reactions or create a myriad of diseases, to name just a few.
  • What can it do to my brain? Processed foods can trigger addiction and brain damage. Excitotoxins such as MSG and a long list of food additives can cause serious neurodegenerative damage creating disease associated with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Dementia and more.
  • What can it do to my children? Food additives can create hyperactivity, behavioral problems and often create severe allergic reactions.
