Welcome to Lake Forest Soccer Association! We are excited to share our soccer highlights and events with you!

 

Lake Forest Soccer Association (LFSA) is in its 25th year as a premier Travel Soccer Club serving Lake Forest, Lake Bluff and the surrounding communities in Lake County.

Our Club has more than 28 teams at all levels of competition, fielding more than 350 boys and girls, ages 7 to 18. Our professional coaches are licensed by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and are under the direction of Oktay Akgun, director of Coaching.

Tryouts for the 2012-2013 boys and girls U8 to U14 travel teams are coming up May 29-June 1. Or learn the game from professional coaches in our fun Young Scouts Program for ages 5-7. Visit our website at www.lfsa.org to register. 

 

LFSA is a non-profit Travel Soccer Club located in Lake County Illinois

 

LFSA offers competitive youth soccer programs for boys and girls ages 5 to 18. Our competitive travel teams range from U8 to U18.

Our Young Scouts program is a developmental league for children in Kindergarden and First Grade.

 

LFSA utilizes KidSafe program for all coaches and personnel.

 

The Lake Forest Soccer Association will provide a competitive, community based travel, youth soccer program dedicated to the development of highly skilled players under the direction of professional trainers We will encourage sportsmanship, teamwork and a passion for the game.

 

LFSA has had great success developing and training our local talent. Current achievements include:

 1 National Gatorade Player of the Year

2 National Olympic Team Players

4 National Olympic Team Pool

9 Regional Olympic Development Payers

Director of Coaching, Oktay Akgun named Illinois Girls Coach of the Year (2006)

Multiple Division 1 NCAA players (Stanford, Duke, Northwestern, Colgate among others)
