Everyone from doctors to environmentalists, parents to teenagers, teachers to farmers is concerned with how our food is affecting our health. We are confronted with myriad food choices; organic, natural, locally sourced and sustainable. But what does it all mean? How are food sources protected and regulated?

Now is the time to become informed about our food sources, the environment, and their connections to our health.

The League of Women Voters – Lake Forest/Lake Bluff in conjunction with Lake Forest Open Lands is pleased to present an eye-opening community program on agriculture and health.

The program will take place on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Gorton Community Center - auditorium, 400 E. Illinois, Lake Forest. Doors open at 2:15 p.m.

Ruchi S. Gupta, MD/MPH, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and a health services researcher at Northwestern University and Children’s Memorial Hospital. Author of “The Food Allergy Experience: Real Voices. Real Disease. Real Insights".
