Fiscal state of Illinois to be topic of fundraising breakfast

Despite the Illinois Legislature’s recent passage of a compromise pension bill, many say the state’s financial condition is still broken. Can it be fixed, and what would it take?

These questions will be addressed by a panel of experts at the 15th Economic Breakfast sponsored by the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Rotary Club at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. The location is the Lake Forest Club, 554 Westmoreland Road, Lake Forest. The breakfast will be an important fundraising event for the service organization as well as an informative session for local business owners, professionals, and community leaders.
