Lake Forest College Lyrica celebrates Benjamin Britten Nov. 10

Alan Taylor and Rachael Kerr perform art songs by Benjamin Britten in honor of the famous opera composer's 100th birthday at Lake Forest College on November 10 at 3pm. Alan Taylor will also be singing Britten's St. Nicolas with the Lake Forest College Choirs and Chamber Orchestra on Friday, December 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lake Forest First Presbyterian Church. Tickets are $15 per concert or $50 for subscription (4 concerts); $5 for students with ID, payable by cash or check, in advance or at the door. Free for Lake Forest College students, faculty, and staff.

Founded in 1994, Lake Forest College Lyrica is a series of chamber music performed by some of the finest musicians from the Chicago area. Concerts are held in the intimate setting of the Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel on the beautiful campus of Lake Forest College at 555 N. Sheridan Road in Lake Forest, Illinois.
