Lake Forest Country Day School Hosts Independent School Boarding Fair

The School hosts this annual fair as a service to the North Shore and surrounding families who are considering boarding school as a option.


Lake Forest Country Day School Hosts Independent Boarding School Fair

If you are a student or family with questions about boarding school life, Lake Forest Country Day School (LFCDS) invites you to spend an evening with us at our Independent Boarding School Fair on Thursday, October 18. The event will be held from 6:30—8:30 p.m. and will be feature over 60 diverse boarding schools from across the country,each with a distinctive educational approach. LFCDS has hosted this fair as a service to families from the North Shore and surrounding communities who are considering boarding school for their students, and the public is encouraged to attend.

A panel discussion on the topic of boarding school life will take place from 6:30—7:00 p.m., followed by ample time to meet with boarding school representatives from the schools listed below.

In addition to providing an excellent education and preparation for college, a boarding school can also offer: challenging academic curricula, including Honors and Advanced Placement classes; small class sizes, low student-teacher ratio, and individualized attention; broad and diverse offerings in terms of the arts, athletics, and community service; Cultural Exchange programs, advanced technology, and outdoor and experiential education; and need-based
financial aid programs.
