GUN CONTROL vs. MENTALLY ILL CONTROL

We have another Mass Killing by a Mentally Ill Madman, this time it was in Isla Vista, California, involving a young man that planned and killed 7 people with knives, guns and injured more with his car. This young man, like many of the other Mentally Ill killers of so many innocent victims... told people of his plans. The killer, Elliot Rodger, made and posted videos of exactly what he planned to do on the internet. His Parents contacted the Law Enforcement Authorities "LAST MONTH" and nothing was done to stop this killer. Our system is broken, our Police can not protect us from deranged madmen... even when they tell the world of their diabolical plans.  Even when the parents of the madman ask for the authorities to please stop him. The authorities failed to take action and now 7 people have been killed and 13 seriously injured. How much more can we ask for, as a warning sign...how much more information can be given to the authorities and yet they can not do anything to stop a killer from carrying out his evil plans. We elect people like Gov. Quinn, Rep. Scott Drury, Senator Julie Morrison, Rep. Elaine Nekritz, AG Lisa Madigan and a hundred other Gun-Control Advocates... but who is a Mentally Ill Control Advocate? Who is Passing legislation that will force the Police to take a threatening madman into custody and place him into a Mental Health Facility for observation and give the Police the time to further investigate the matter, while the individual is in a safe place. Our Governor has closed down over a dozen mental health facilities and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has closed many as well. We can blame an object and never find a solution or we can work towards doing the right thing and start taking care of our mentally ill people. By taking care of them, we are taking care of each other, we are helping to stop this insane violence. How much does it cost to take care of the mentally ill vs how many more incidents of mass murder do we have to accept as collateral damage.
