Brady clarifies Keats allegation that fraud was likely in the 2010 Quinn/Brady match-up

As will be the case as long as there are elections to win or lose, each side will continue to take the steps deemed necessary to ensure that the other side is defeated; nevertheless, the IRS scandal is a blatant abuse of government power which has eroded the trust the American people have in their government.

The ongoing IRS scandals reflects what happens when government becomes so powerful that it can use its own agency to target individuals and groups whose views are not in sync with its own political agenda.  By targeting and harnessing individuals, tea party groups, and organizations perceived to be conservative in nature, there was a conscious and directed effort by federal IRS agents in a Democratic administration to silence the messages of those on the right as a way to influence the 2012 General Election.

While the IRS scandal constitutes a Democratic ploy to influence elections at the federal level, Democrats have long excelled at the local level in rallying people to the polls through fraudulent practices such as registering voters under the names of deceased citizens, double  registering, and allowing illegal aliens to vote.

Irrefutable is the existence of Democratic voter fraud in Chicago and Illinois.  Kennedy's election for president was won with Chicago's help. In the elections of Barack Obama, ACORN was responsible for massive amounts of voter fraud.

Unreported in my Illinois Review article of Friday, June 14, 'Chicago electorate is docile and dumb,' Chicago confidential author says, was a somewhat shocking allegation of election fraud made by former Senator Roger Keats regarding the outcome of the Illinois gubernatorial race in 2010 between Pat Quinn and Bill Brady.  http://illinoisreview.typepad.com/illinoisreview/2013/06/keats-unveils-corruption-in-chicago-confide...

To paraphrase statements made by Senator Roger Keats about the Quinn/Brady match for governor in 2010:

Bill Brady won the election.  Election fraud existed with corruption prevalent and wide spread. Even the media realized what had happened but said nothing.  Bill Brady knew it was hopeless to try to overturn the election, as those entities involved with deciding close elections were composed of majority Democratic members
.

Realizing the magnitude and impact of Senator Keats' allegations as information worthy of a follow up, stand alone article, required that Illinois Senator Bill Brady be contacted to ascertain his reaction to Keats' voter fraud statements.

Did Senator Keats know something that no one else knew?   Did the media really know that Bill Brady had won the 2010 gubernatorial race over the proclaimed winner, Pat Quinn?

It is well known that media outlets have been denied interviews and other perks by elected Democrat politicians and leaders if they dares to publish articles critical of those in power.

My telephone interview took place with Bill Brady on Friday, June 14:

Thorner:  What is your take on an allegation made at a Heartland Institute Author event by former Senator Roger Keats?

Brady:     "After a very close election in Nov., 2010, there was a suspicion that voter fraud had taken place, but how to prove the presence of fraud?  Only 30,000 votes separated me from Pat Quinn.  Lawyers were consulted who advised me that it would cost millions of dollars to prove that fraud had occurred to result in my defeat."

Brady had no knowledge to share in reference to Keats' claim that the media was deaf, dumb and unresponsive to what amounted to a stolen election.

Thorner
:  Are you running for governor in 2014 as a vindication of what happened in 2010?

Brady:    To paraphrase:  Brady believes that he best represents the Republican Party Platform and its issues. Brady has also proven he can attract both Democrats and Independents to his fold, necessary for a Republican candidate to win in a state where party affiliation is 40% Democrat and 30% Republican.

Brady was definite in stating that he wouldn't be running if he didn't think he could win.  The fact that Brady did so well in 2010 with only a margin of 30,000 votes separating him from Quinn, despite suspected fraudulent voter activity, had led Brady to believe that he can build on the voters he attracted in 2010 to easily overcome Quinn's 30,000 vote margin victory in 2014..

Quinn's stated reasons for his optimism:  "Given the lack of progress to fix Illinois' problems in the Democratically-controlled House and Senate, voters are more likely this time around to vote for change in Illinois at the very top of the ticket.

Thorner
:  If suspected fraud was present in 2010, how do you expect to deal with the fraud issue in 2014?

Brady:  "We must win more votes.!"   Brady also indicated the need for precinct judges to be placed in each precinct to guard against fraud.

The latter fix might be difficult to do.  According a claim made by former Senator Keats in his appearance at the Heartland Author Event on Wednesday, June 12:

The voter lists in Chicago are not purged on purpose.  Individuals are retained on active active voter lists so that the percentage of people who do vote in any given election appears to be much lower than in reality, giving the impression that voter fraud could not have possibly taken place.

While mounting scandals at the Internal Revenue Service are possibly blessings in disguise if they jeopardize critical funding for the agency as it gears up to play a big role in President Barack Obama's health care law, the very nature of election vote fraud compromises the democratic system that Americans hold dear, and further makes a mockery of attempts by this nation to impose our democratic system on other nations.
