Health & Fitness

My FIRST Anti-Bullying Rally is Monday, July 22 at Jump America in Gurnee!

Hello, my name is Camille Paddock, I am 14 years  old  and I have  Alopecia Areata, a seriously misunderstood and under researched  auto-immune disease that causes hair loss as well as other  more serious  health issues. Due to my hair loss, I was bullied to the point that I considered taking my own life.  Thankfully, with the help of my family and  the Global Alopecia Mission, I did not.  Instead, I became an Ambassador for GAM Kids, a division of the Global Alopecia Mission,  to help the millions of other Alopecia Areata sufferers find hope through research and a determination to find a cure. I also started my own online anti-bullying community called Cam’s Dare to Be Different, and now I travel all over to  Cheer Gyms, Dance Studios and Schools to speak to kids about bullying, teen depression and suicide prevention. Through my organization, I  have also managed to spread awareness about Alopecia Areata and help raise funds for research for a cure while  giving  kids hope and strength. Please consider coming to support my mission at my FIRST Anti Bullying Rally to benefit GAM Kids on Monday, July 22 from 6:30-9:30pm at Jump America in Gurnee. This amazing family friendly event brought to you by Moxi will feature  HUGE TRAMPOLINES, Dance Music by 4Sure Entertainment, Emcee Talent by Brad Gertz,  Free Anti-Bullying T Shirts to the first 50 people to arrive thanks to my T-Shirt sponsor  Jet Gear, Free Glitter Tattoos by Laine Too, FREE MAKE-OVERS by Fancy Face Cosmetics; The Make-up of Champions, Delicious Food options from Fines 1978, plus  video crews filming jumpers, AND  a Video Confessional for anyone willing to share their own bullying stories.  Your stories will be  included in my Anti-bullying video, and shown in schools all over the country! Admission is free, and if you want to JUMP FOR KINDNESS  there is a $20 donation fee per Jumper and vendors will be selling my new T-Shirts, make-up and other items to benefit my mission. I can't wait to meet everyone and spread my messages of kindness  to help to save kids from taking their lives because of bullying and depression. Thank you to all of the sponsors and YOU for your support!

Love,

“Cami”
